Loreley Hodkin has a passion for history. She has been the City Historian for Auburn, California since 2002, and a Placer County resident for 70 years. Loreley has authored more than 30 history articles for the Auburn Journal. For 7 years she worked as a volunteer for the Placer County Museums, and has attended numerous workshops on “history and preservation”. Loreley has written two books, “A Chronology of Auburn, 1848-1910” and “1st Placer County Hospital, a Historical Report”. She resides in Auburn, California.

Mike is the webmaster and caretaker for the Old Town Auburn website. He is president of CCS Inc, a software development company.
He has an extensive programming and accounting background. Mike has installed or assisted in installing various accounting software solutions at over 500 companies during the past 30 years. He lives in Old Town Auburn, California with his wife, Patty who is the proprietor of Victorian Hill Gardens, an outside garden wedding venue, also located in Old Town Auburn.
