The Native Sons of the Golden West (NSGW) is an organization to benefit and improve the social activities of native Californians, to perpetuate the memory of the “Days of ‘49” and to unite them statewide by the ties of Friendship, Loyalty and Charity.
They encourage a lively interest in the history of California and the up-building of efforts in the state to promote its beauty and rich history.
The primary mission of the NSGW is to preserve the “Days of ‘49' ” and the history of California. In addition, the NSGW participates in events, functions and activities that as varied and diverse as our great state and those who call it home.
